2017 Special Session on Human Support and Monitoring Technology on Human Factors

Considering the human factors is quite significant for the system design of human support systems and human monitoring systems. Such human interactive system has to provide appropriate services in appropriate time and to understand not only human conditions in various situations but also surrounding environment. For making such system, it is indispensable to integrate technologies based on various disciplines, such as Robotics, Sensing, Service engineering, Cognitive science, Sociology and Human Factors. Therefore, the organizers propose a Special Session to discuss some case studies with consideration of related topics to promote the development of human support and monitoring technology.
