Introduction

The 2017 IEEE Asia Pacific Conference on Postgraduate Research in Microelectronics and Electronics (PrimeAsia) will be held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 31st October – 2nd November 2017. PrimeAsia is an initiative of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CAS) for engaging students. It aims to provide opportunity for postgraduate students (Masters and PhD) to present their research work and to interact with scientists and engineers in the research community and industry. PrimeAsia 2017 expected to provide visibility to postgraduate students in the early stage of their career, benchmark postgraduate research in a friendly and cooperative environment and connect postgraduate students with academic/research institutions and the industry. Papers in PrimeAsia 2017 will be presented by postgraduate students. However, experienced researchers from academia and industry are warmly invited to attend, in order to create a stimulating environment for exchange of ideas and mentoring of young researchers.
