The 3rd CHREST International Conference

Human capital has been recognised as the catalyst of organisational success. Its importance is more prevailing today as the new phase of globalisation, the 4th Industrial Revolution will take charge of the world landscape. The world today stands on the brink of a technological revolution that will fundamentally alter the way we live and work, how we relate to one another, and most importantly, the effect it will give to all the stakeholders including public and private sectors. Unlike anything humankind has experienced before, the breadth and depth of the changes in the 4th Industrial Revolution is expected to alter the entire system of production, management and governance. In particular, it will affect the workforce and workplace which we are yet to foresee but inevitably will make human capital as the critical factor to be nurtured. 

With the theme “Nurturing Human Capital amidst the 4th Industrial Revolution” , the Centre for Human Resource Studies (CHREST), UKM, in collaboration with Pertubuhan Legasi Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi proudly presents the 3rd CHREST International Conference 2018 that is to be held in TH Hotel, Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu, Malaysia on 4 - 5 April 2018.

Educators, researchers, practitioners, policy makers and professionals are invited to share and exchange ideas and experiences related to the conference theme.
