Over the last decade, the data and computing needs of modern enterprise and industry have accelerated to include HPC. In the next decade, these communities will be focused on the challenges associated with the development of extreme-scale computers and the end of Moore’s Law. Extreme-scale machines will be of enormous value to a wide range of scientific and commercial applications. However, physical limitations and consumer-driven markets are leading to disruptive changes in computer architectures that will impact the design of future machines. New architectures and system platforms call for new algorithms. They will likely further facilitate integration of data analysis and synthesis with simulation.
This workshop will include a poster session; a request for posters will be sent to registered participants in advance of the workshop.
