Introduction

This conference covers the broad range of topics related to wind energy technology for both land-based and offshore siting. Technical areas of interest include Aerodynamics, Aeroelasticity, Acoustics, Dynamics and Control, Structures, Structural Dynamics, Materials, Design, System Engineering and Economics applied to wind energy systems.

Call for paper

Papers are solicited for the 36th ASME Wind Energy Symposium covering a broad range of topics related to onshore and offshore wind-turbine and wind-plant technology. Technical areas of interest include aerodynamics, acoustics, aeroelasticity, structural dynamics, fatigue and extreme loads, design, performance optimization and control, atmospheric inflow, innovative concepts, materials, manufacturing, testing, sensors, health monitoring, and reliability.
