The 4th International Workshop on Wireless Technology Innovations in Smart Grid (WTISG2018) aims to foster innovative research and discussion about smart grid wireless technology challenges, issues, approaches, and solutions. WTISG2018 is a part of The 8th International Conference on Sustainable Energy Information Technology (SEIT-2018) conference. It will take places on May 8-11, 2018 in Porto, Portugal in conjunction with The 9th International Conference on Ambient Systems, Networks and Technologies (ANT-2018).
WTISG2018 seeks paper submissions from academia, industry, and government institutions presenting novel research on all theoretical and practical aspects of wireless technology in smart grid, including design, analysis, test, experimentation, and fielded test systems.
The scope of the workshop encompasses all aspects of the wireless technology applications in smart grid, including generation, transmission, distribution, metering, e-mobility, and integration of distributed energy resources.
The number of pages for workshop papers is limited to 6 pages. All ANT 2018 accepted papers will be published by Elsevier Science in the open-access Procedia Computer Science series on-line. Procedia Computer Science is hosted by Elsevier on www.Elsevier.com and on Elsevier content platform ScienceDirect (www.sciencedirect.com), and will be freely available worldwide. All papers in Procedia will be indexed by Scopus (www.scopus.com) and by Thomson Reuters' Conference Proceeding Citation Index (http://thomsonreuters.com/conference-proceedings-citation-index/). All papers in Procedia will also be indexed by Scopus (www.scopus.com) and Engineering Village (Ei) (www.engineeringvillage.com). This includes EI Compendex (www.ei.org/compendex). Moreover, all accepted papers will be indexed in DBLP (http://dblp.uni-trier.de/). The papers will contain linked references, XML versions and citable DOI numbers.
