The 2018 American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association International Conference (AREUEA)

The American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA) is pleased to announce the 2018 annual international conference will be held at the Institute for Economic and Social Research (IESR) at Jinan University in Guangzhou, China, June 12-15.
The main venue will be on the Jinan campus with additional events planned for the Vanburgh Hotel, a short walk away. Conference highlights will include keynote addresses by Vernon Henderson and Joe Gyourko, a special panel of local real estate industry representatives moderated by Sheridan Titman, and two days of parallel sessions. Other confirmed attendees include the program committee listed below who will assist in forming the program.
The conference will begin in the afternoon on June 12 with an initial keynote address and welcome reception and will conclude with a dinner cruise on the Pearl River on June 14. An optional outing to see some of the nearby sights is being planned for June 15--please check back for details.
Guangzhou airport is one of the main transport hubs in China and provides excellent connections to major cities throughout the world. There is easy transport by taxi from the airport to the conference hotels and university.
