The 2018 Gordon Research Conference on Catalysis

Since 1947 the Gordon Research Conference on Catalysis has been a forum for discussing the latest advances and the future of the field. We continue this tradition with a focus on advances in the four pillars in catalysis research: catalyst synthesis and characterization, kinetics, and theoretical methods, as applied to catalytic solutions to global grand challenges. The meeting will provide unique opportunities for interactions with many of the leaders in our field. This year we will start a new tradition with the addition of the Gordon Research Seminar that will "bring graduate students and post-docs together to discuss their cutting edge research among peers and mentors" two days prior to the main conference.
The Conference will be held at Colby-Sawyer College. The dorm rooms provide single and double accommodations and free WiFi. The registration fee includes all meals including the famous Thursday night lobster dinner. Afternoons are kept open for enjoyment of the New England surroundings, with opportunities for hiking and many sports. The hallmark of this conference is the outstanding ambiance that fosters scientific discussions, networking, and creation of long lasting connections with colleagues.
