Introduction

The 7th International Symposium on Computational Wind Engineering – CWE2018 will take place on June 18-22, 2018 in Seoul. The CWE2018 is being organized by the Wind Engineering Institute of Korea (WEIK) under the auspices of the International Association for Wind Engineering (IAWE).
The International Symposium on Computational Wind Engineering – The CWE symposia are international events conducted every four years since 1992, representing the world's largest international conference on the application of computing in wind engineering.
Following the tradition of CWE conferences, the CWE2018 Symposium will foster scientific discussion and exchange of information on latest research and practical applications of wind engineering. The wind engineering community is a truly interdisciplinary platform not only consisting of structural and mechanical engineers but also involving computational mathematicians and software engineers, meteorologists, physicists and environmental engineers who are dealing for instance with wind loads on structures, the use of wind power, or air quality and urban climate.
The Organizing Committee is delighted to host the CWE2018 and great efforts are being undertaken to ensure its success. We take pleasure in inviting academicians, engineers, scientists and technologists to actively participate in the seventh CWE. The CWE2018 aims to provide a knowledge platform for exchanging state-of-the-art research findings and practical applications in all areas of wind engineering, and to further enhance international collaborations.
