Introduction

The international scientific and engineering conference “Information Society Technologies” has been held since 1975. For 44 years of work the conference has become a widely known forum for specialists of the field.

As part of the conference the reports on the direction «Systems of signals generating and processing in the field of on board communications» were placed according to the sections. Due to the significantly increasing of the interest and the level of the participants’’ presented papers in this field, by the program committee was made a decision to allocate this chapter as a new original international scientific conference starting with the 2018.

The main areas of the conference «Systems of signals generating and processing in the field of on board communications» include modern digital transportation systems design and technical operation, radio waves propagation, transmitting, receiving and processing signals in television and radio broadcasting devices, information technologies in transport.

The presentations are made by the scientists and developers from 12 countries: Russia, Germany, Finland, Belarus, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Lebanon and Mongolia.

IEEE Region 8, Chair of Russian Section Chapter, MTT/ED Vadim A. Kaloshin is the Chairman of the Technical Program Committee. He organizes the work of the conference Chapter “Navigation and Mathematical Algorithms of an Object Space Orientation”.

IEEE Branch Director in Russia Roman Y. Ivanyushkin promotes this conference among the Engineers in the field of Telecommunications. He also organizes the work of the conference Chapter “Radiofrequency Applications”.

IEEE Chair of Russian Section Chapter, MTT/ED and Chairman of Russian Branch IEEE Circuits and System Society take part in the work of the other conference sections and make presentations at the plenary session of the conference.

The papers which are discussed at the conference can be divided into the following chapters:

1. Antennas and Radio Waves Propagation

2. Navigation and Mathematical Algorithms of an Object Space Orientation.

3. Radiofrequency Applications.

4. Wire and Optical Communication and Control Systems.
