2018 21st International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (ICEMS)

On behalf of the Committee, I would like to welcome all of you to ICEMS 2018. It is a great pleasure and honor for all of us to host this 21st International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems in Jeju, Korea. I urge you to please take this opportunity to explore this small but fascinating island.

ICEMS is an annual international conference in the field of electrical machines and systems, where experts from all over the world gather to share their knowledge and experience, and to encourage scientific exchange and fellowship amongst industry colleagues and professionals globally. I would like to invite many participants from different cultures and continents, representing Asia, Europe, South, North America, Oceania, and Africa. Although Korea is hosting the ICEMS this time, I believe that each one of you is the real host. Your dedication and participation are essential components to make the ICEMS enjoyable and prosperous. We promise you that we will make every effort to make the ICEMS the very best ever, and in return we need your tremendous support. 

In addition, we are excited to offer social programs to explore the marvelous Jeju Island, which has been selected for UNESCO World Natural Heritage in 2007. This breathtakingly beautiful island was created from volcanic eruption in prehistoric era, and is famous for its bountiful forests, rocks, caves, volcanic craters, and grasslands.
