Originally founded in 1990 as a Colloquium in Digital Signal Processing and Control, the Irish Signals and Systems Conference (ISSC) is now a well reputed annual event on the Isle of Ireland covering all aspects of signals and systems. Following its original inception, the focus of the conference remains on Signal Processing, Control and Automation, ICT related concepts, Systems Modelling, Design and Implementation for a wide range of applications. Queen's University Belfast will be hosting the 29th series of ISSC in 2018 and would like to take this opportunity to welcome all researchers working in the general area of Signals and Systems to submit their research and actively participate in the conference.
The scope of the conference covers the theory and applications of signals and systems in multiple disciplines. The conference topic list covers some main aspects but is not exhaustive. All papers should be written in English and prepared in a two-column format. Standard submission will be 6 pages and additional pages will incur a supplement charge. The program committee will select high quality papers for oral and poster presentations based upon peer reviews and all accepted papers will be published in the proceedings. Brief industrial submissions are also welcome.
The Conference focuses on all aspects of digital signal processing, control and communications, and encompasses algorithm, circuit and system modelling, design, and implementation. We welcome theory and applications orientated papers in the following exemplar thematic areas:
