Introduction
RKU took a new direction in academic reforms by embracing activity focused outcomes-based education paradigm. Several practices are followed on the campus in the areas of pedagogic practices, curriculum design, teaching-learning, assessment, research, and entrepreneurship. All of the faculty are innovating in these areas and enriching the education ecosystem of the campus. Today RKU wish to stands out as a leader on the strengths of its clear vision, sustained processes, practices, and being a lighthouse to others.
Faculty Conclave is envisaged as the annual event that provides a forum for the faculty members to showcase their innovative educational experiments and share the experiences. Last time RKU had a humble beginning with 3 papers with the use of the easy chair as the conference management tool. It is a great success in terms of the enthusiastic participation and inspires several others in the educational research to publish.
The second in the series – “Faculty Conclave 2018” – is tentatively scheduled for July 14, Saturday, 2018, the first Saturday as new academic session begins. This conclave is expected to provide a platform for the faculty members to exchange their thoughts and share their experiences in academic space

Guidlines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
Faculty members are invited to share their ideas and experiences of the academic year 2017-2018 in the form of papers to be presented during the conclave. The papers can be submitted by an individual or a group. Extended abstracts of the papers (pdf only) not exceeding 500 words may be mailed to easychair.org (Faculty Conclave 2018@rku) clearly writing focus area in subject line of the email choosing from the table above. The abstract of the paper is expected to indicate the focus of the paper in terms of clearly stated objectives, methodology, and measures used along with the inferences drawn. The outcome of the review of abstracts will be communicated to the respective author(s) by 19-05-2018. Full papers from the accepted abstracts, not exceeding 05 pages (refer http://www.journaleet.org for format and author guidelines) shall be sent by 30-06-2018. The authors of selected papers will be making their presentation during the faculty conclave after the return from the Summer Vacation.
FC-18@rku proceedings will be published by the faculty by participating in IUCEE conference Jan, 2019 where it gets published in http://www.journaleet.org/
