Introduction

HELLO, WELCOME!

We warmly invite you to APAN46, to be hosted in Auckland, New Zealand from 5-9 August 2018.
We encourage you to experience our warm Pacific welcome. Join us to participate in conversations about advanced network technologies and their impact on the Asia-Pacific research and education community, and connect with other members and networks.
The venue, in the heart of Auckland, also offers quality accommodation and is walking distance to the sparkling harbour as well as to world-class universities, shopping, dining and entertainment.
APAN46 is hosted by REANNZ. We deliver the backbone network that connects New Zealand's research, education and innovation sectors regionally, nationally, as well as globally to other NRENs. REANNZ develops tailored technology services and provides high-performance network services to universities, polytechnics, CRIs and research institutes. APAN was last held in New Zealand in 2008.
After the meeting, plan your own unique Kiwi adventure – visit nearby Hobbiton, experience Maori or Pasifika culture, sample local award-winning vineyards, enjoy skiing, visit Waiheke Island or find a quiet spot to escape the world.
