Introduction

Held as part of the Universitas Gadjah Mada Annual Scientific Conferences (UASC 2018) series, the 1 st International Conference on Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, and Biomedical Engineering (BioMIC 2018) provides an ideal academic platform for researchers to present the latest research findings and describe emerging technologies and directions in bioinformatics, biotechnology, and biomedical engineering.

This year, five symposia will be held , Bioinformatics and Biological Data Mining symposium; Biomedical Science and Engineering symposium; Biomolecular and Biotechnology symposium; Drug Development and Nutraceutical symposium; and Genetic Resources and Uses symposium

Biostatistics, computational evolutionary biology, computational genomics and proteomics, graph models, image analysis, machine learning, pattern recognition, scientific data management and data mining, sequence analysis

Ageing, biomaterials, biomechanics (skeletal system), cell and molecular biosciences, cell tissue genetic engineering, cellular medicine, clinical biochemistry, e-health, genetic medicine, haematology, health and society, health systems, immunology, medical devices, microbiology, nano or micro technology, neuroscience and cancer, neurosciences and technology, and toxicology.

The symposium topics include among others, breakthroughs in biotechnology and biology molecular research including biocatalysts, genomics, metagenomics, proteomics, metabolomics, bioinformatics and molecular physiology with the recent advances in knowledge and new technologies, have had significant impacts on innovative solutions related to molecular biology, biochemical, environment, bio-industries and plant biotechnology.

Guidlines

  1. Papers submitted must be original work and should not have been previously published or presented at another meeting.
  2. Papers should be written in English.
  3. For both primary and co-authors, credentials along with their full names and email addresses must be included. If co-authors are from different institutions, the secondary institution(s) and the institution investigators are associate with must be listed using a superscript.
  4. Papers topic should conform to the scope of the conference/symposium.
  5. The submitted paper is at least of 4 pages and no more than 6 pages with A4 Paper size in doc or pdf format.
