Introduction

INTERNATIONAL PROCESS CONTROL COMPETITION
Multivariable systems are generally and encountered in real industrial processes due to the complexity such as petrochemical industry, oil and gas industry, refinery industry, cement industry, power plants, etc. In order to achieve the well quantity and quality of production, it is necessary to perform a multivariable PID controller tuning.

THEME
“PID Controller Tuning for Multivariable System”

EVENT DESCRIPTION
There will be two stages of the competition, preliminary round and final round.
On preliminary round, each team should make an essay to propose a method of tuning PID for a multivariable system.
The selected teams will be continued to final round and will be provided the case study. The case study solution must be submitted as paper and presentation slides.
The winners will be presented at Engineering Physics International Conference.

Guidlines

Prospective authors can submit extended abstract of their papers to EPIC system. The extended abstracts will be blindly-reviewed by reviewers to determine their acceptances to be included in this conference by submitting full papers. The full papers will be undergoing another blind review to guarantee their quality. Please use the following template for the extended abstract and full paper.

THE STRUCTURE OF THE FULL PAPER MUST BE:

  • Introduction

  • Methodology

  • Result and Discussion

  • Conclusion

RESPONSIBILITIES OF MANUSCRIPT AUTHORS:

  • Financial support of the work being reported and of the authors should be clearly acknowledged, as should any potential conflict of interest.

  • Methods and materials should be described in sufficient detail to permit evaluation and replication.

  • All data should be presented upon request by the editor, to facilitate the review process.

  • Authors have an obligation to correct errors promptly.

  • Plagiarism is defined as the use of someone else’s prior ideas, processes, results, or words without explicitly acknowledging the original author and source. Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable and is considered a serious breach of professional conduct, with potentially severe ethical and legal consequences.

  • Fabrication and falsification are unacceptable.

  • Authors should only submit original work that has neither appeared elsewhere for publication, nor which is under review for another refereed publication. If authors have used their own previously published work(s) as a basis for a new submission, they are required to cite the previous work(s) and very briefly indicate how the new submission offers substantively novel contributions beyond those of the previously published work(s).

  • Only those articles of a researcher’s publication record that are directly relevant to the subject matter of the paper under consideration should be included in the bibliography. Furthermore, an article should be appropriately labeled as "submitted" when still in the review process or "in press" when it has been accepted for publication but has not yet appeared in print.
