Introduction
With greatest pleasure, we announce the 1st International Conference on Space Weather and Satellite Application (ICeSSAT 2018 ) to be held in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia on the on the 7th -9th August 2018.
ICeSSAT 2018 is organized by Center for Satellite Communication (UiTMSAT), Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA, in conjunction with the deployment of our first cubesat, UiTMSAT-1. This conference is co-organized by several local universities and government agency.
The objectives of ICeSSAT 2018 are to disseminate knowledge, and to share experiences and expertise in space science and satellite technology in all aspects of applications. It also aims to build network between local and international professionals in this field with related industries.
All accepted papers will be published in IOP Conference Series:
- Earth and Environmental Science
- Material Science and Engineering (MSE)
with high visibility and indexed in, among others, ISI Web of Science (Conference Proceedings Citation Index) and Scopus.

ICeSSAT 2018 invites authors to submit full paper, describing original research finding, in the following tracks (but not limited to) :
- Solar system and astronomical instrumentation
- Space weather and space climate
- Upper and lower atmosphere/ ionosphere
- Antenna for space communication
- Remote sensing and GIS application
- Satellite and communication technology
- Space data management system
- Nano satellite and payload
- Simulation and modelling for space application
- Space and Earth’s electromagnetism
- Space policy, governance and entrepreneurship
- Education astronomy and public outreach
- Circuit design and electronic devices for space applications
Guidlines
All submissions should be written in English, must be no greater than 4 pages in length including all figures, tables, references, appendices, etc., and must be a PDF file of less than 10MB in size. Authors must prepare their papers using Microsoft Word or LaTeX, according to the journal guidelines and templates, and then convert these files to PDF.
When preparing the manuscript, please follow Author Guidelines and Template . Submissions that deviate from these guidelines will be rejected without consideration.
