Introduction

It is our great pleasure to announce that the 5th International Conference on Fundamental & Applied Sciences (ICFAS2018) will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 13 – 15 August 2018. ICFAS2018 is organized by the Fundamental & Applied Sciences department, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). The ICFAS conference aims to bring together academicians, scientists and industrialists from all around the world for knowledge sharing, exchange of ideas, and to present research findings in all aspects of applied sciences. The conference will provide opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and innovations, to establish research initiatives or business relations and find global partners for future collaborations.

Guidlines

Author guidelines for conference proceedings

Authors must prepare their papers using Microsoft Word or LaTeX, according to the journal guidelines and templates, and then convert these files to PDF.

It is important to ensure that when you submit your paper, it is in its final form ready for publication, and has been thoroughly proofread. IOP do not copy edit or reformat papers and will not send out author proofs prior to publication. Post-publication changes are not permitted, so please ensure that your paper has been checked for errors.

By submitting a paper an author and all co-authors are assumed to agree with the terms of the IOP Proceedings Licence.

Please ensure the following:

i. Paper size is European A4.

ii. Margins are 4cm (top), 2.5cm (left and right) and 2.7cm (bottom).

iii. The paper includes the author name and affiliation (full address including country).

iv. There are no page numbers, or headers and footers, within the paper.

v. All pages are portrait (landscape pages should be rotated).

vi. Figures are placed within the text, not collected at the end of the document.
