Introduction
It is our great pleasure to announce the 4th International Symposium on Frontier of Applied Physics (ISFAP 2018). This symposium, which continues the successful 3rd meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia 2017, will be organized every year. ISFAP 2018 is a part of Indonesia Science Expo, and will be held on 1 - 2 November 2018 in Tangerang Selatan, Indonesia.
ISFAP 2018 will cover a wide range of research directions in basic and applied physics. All contributed papers will be published through the IOP Journal of Physics: Conference Series. IOP Conference Series is an open-access proceeding publication indexed by ISI Web of Science (Conference Proceedings Citation Index), Scopus, EI Compendex, etc.
This symposium is aimed to bring together researchers, academicians, and scholars all around the world to share information and their research results. This event will also become a beneficial media to exchange their innovative ideas and build the research collaboration in the future.

Guidlines
Formating and Preparing Paper:
- All participants must register first on ISFAP 2018 website.
- Submit your extended abstracts through ISFAP 2018 website and EDAS system by April 10, 2018.
- After abstracts acceptance notification, please prepare your full papers/manuscripts by July 1, 2018.
- Manuscripts must be written in IOP format. Authors can choose either Microsoft Word template or LaTeX template.
- It is important to ensure that when you submit your paper, it is in its final form ready for publication, and has been thoroughly proofread. IOP do not copy edit or reformat papers and will not send out author proofs prior to publication. Post-publication changes are not permitted, so please ensure that your paper has been checked for errors.
- Manuscripts must be uploaded through EDAS website. Author must create a username at EDAS before registering and submitting manuscripts. Please download these guidelines when preparing your paper.
- Soon, after manuscript submission, EDAS will check all technical aspects of the manuscript such as layout, margin, font, etc. If EDAS encounters any problem(s), it will give message(s). The author is responsible to fix these problems. The review process will not start until all messages are clear.
- Notification of selected papers will be announced on November 20, 2018
