Introduction
The International Conference on Resilent Smart Technology, Environment and Design, ReSTED 2018 is of one the sub-conferences under the UKM's Integrated International Conference, UKM-IIC 2018. ReSTED 2018 combines both the Resilient and Regenerative Tropical Smart Building research project theme headed by Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) with the bi-annual International Conference on Sustainable Tropical Environmental Design, SusTED led by Faculty of Design and Architecture (FRSB), Universit Putra Malaysia (UPM).This conference is jointly organized by SERI-UKM, FRSB-UPM, Asian Reflective Foil Association (ARFA), Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) Glasgow, Scotland, Centre for Advanced Research on Energy (CARE) Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTEM) and University of Reading Malaysia.
