Internet of Biological Things, or Internet of Biology, is currently emerging as a promising field to unify momentum and regulation in the direction of remote monitoring and big data analysis of biodiversity and related agricultural and biological fields. The IEEE Workshop on Internet of Biology and Biological Things (Bio-IoT 2018), aims to bring together policy and experts in the biological and engineering sciences, with the main objective of putting forward guidelines and models for the future integration of safe, efficient, biodegradable, biocompatible, active and passive remote sensing and monitoring of flora and fauna. The current issue of the event will focus on policy, remote monitoring and big data analysis of biodiversity, biosensing and conservation.
