About Surya Engineering College
Surya Engineering College (SEC), Erode is a Self-financing Engineering College instituted in the year 2008 under the auspices of Sri Andavar Educational and Charitable Trust. On the 7th km from Erode in Erode to Perundurai Highway, the amiable and well-developed college campus spreads over a sprawling 20 acres of land.
About the Conference
On behalf of Surya Engineering college, we take massive preference in inviting all the participants from all over the world to attend the Material Science and Smart Structures conference entitled "International Conference on Material Science, Smart Structures and Applications (ICMSS 2018)" to be held in Erode, Tamil Nadu, India during December 6-7, 2018.
The conference will be organized around the theme “Escalating Innovative Material Science and Smart Structures for an Ingenious Future”
Scope
Material sciences and smart structures have been developed based on the properties and it will respond based on the different surrounding environments. It involves different environmental conditions such as temperature, light and pressure. Hence, smart structures and material sciences work in a smart way to adopt the properties like mechanical, optical, electromagnetic and thermal properties. By using these properties can predict and control the environment in an effective manner. These material properties will adapt to the surrounding different environmental conditions as well as it helps to save the human beings using this structural health monitoring for civilian applications, self-defence for military applications, self-repair for mechanical applications, reduce wastes in space and nuclear industries and also helps in medicine and engineering applications. Due to the higher demand for material science gives the hope to achieve the greatest hope in material sciences, smart structure and its applications in future.
So this conference is about bringing out the new smart and innovative ideas from the people belonging to the material sciences and smart structure applications from all over the world for the bright and ingenious future.
