Introduction
The 8th Annual Translational Bioinformatics Conference(TBC)/BIOINFO 2018 will be held in Seoul, Korea from October 31 st to November 2nd, 2018. It is great pleasure to announce that we are consolidating BIOINFO, the official annual meeting of Korean Society for Bioinformatics(KSBI), to the conference this year. The aims of the conference are to present the latest progress in Artificial intelligence(AI), Precision Medicine, Big Data, Single-Cell Sequencing, New Sequencing Platform, Theoretical and Translational Bioinformatics/Computational Biology, and to foster communications among researchers to shape the future of the research field.

Guidlines
Papers in all areas related to studies that are ultimately devoted to the computational understanding of biological systems on a molecular basis will be considered. TBC does not publish conference proceedings. Instead, all accepted papers by TBC 2018 will be published in a series of special issues of the follow journals: BMC Genomics, BMC Medical Genomics, Frontiers in Genetics
