Piping; Earthiness landslides; Model test; Particle flow program; Prevention and control measures
Draft Pending
landslide is one of the geological disasters that threaten the safety of people's life and property. From ancient records up to now, there are numerous large and small landslides, bringing devastating disasters to human beings and causing irreversible trauma to the natural ecological environment. At present, researches on landslides at home and abroad mainly evaluate landslides from macro factors such as rock lithology, geological structure, landform and topography, hydrogeological conditions and human activities, while researches on landslide stability from other macro factors, such as piping, are rare. Due to the concealment of piping, it is difficult to find the traces of piping after the landslide, which makes the research on the landslide induced by piping not deep enough. Based on garden landslide as an example, this paper from the theoretical research, physical model test and numerical simulation of three aspects, the change of the head and the thickness of clay layer was studied on the type of piping were the influence law of earthiness landslides stability as well as the prevention and control measures: (1) based on the analysis of seepage theory, the landslide is obtained when the occurrence of piping were needed in the condition and landslide stability calculation; (2) physical model test was used to simulate the occurrence of landslide, and soil failure mode, internal stress change and soil deformation of piping landslide under different head difference and clay layer thickness were obtained, and control measures were proposed for piping landslide. (3) PFC numerical simulation software is used to simulate the landslide, analyze the formation mechanism and prevention effect of piping landslide, and compare with the model test results to get the effective measures of piping control. It provides guidance for the stability control of piping landslide.
