Abstract
模因是文化信息单位，模因理论是解释文化进化与传播规律的一种新理论，对于解释和促进跨文化交流与传播，探讨跨文化交际的有效方法和途径有着重要的理论指导和实践意义。培养学生具有很强的跨文化交际意识，较高的文化差异敏感性，从而成为合格的具备跨文化交际能力的二十一世纪的人才已经成为高校外语教学的一项重要内容。本文从模因论角度分析和解读跨文化交际中的各种文化复制和传播现象，为探讨语言的进化问题和跨文化交际能力的培养提供新的视角，为如何促进大学英语跨文化教学提供了一种新的思路。
