Introduction
The 3rd International Symposium on Biomass Utilization Technologies (ISBUT 2021), hosted by Key Laboratory of Biomass Chemical Engineering (Zhejiang University), Ministry of Education of China, will take place in Hangzhou, China on November 12-14, 2021. Biomass utilization has attracted explosive research interests in chemistry, biology, environment and energy. ISBUT 2021 will highlight the recent progresses in the sustainable production of biomass-based chemicals, fuels and materials. This symposium aims to lay an excellent platform for related researchers and engineers around the world to present novel ideas and innovative studies, and to figure out challenges and opportunities for industrial applications of biomass.
