Scope:This event will focus industry on how to deliver “Sustainability to Cities” through technology and community action. It is sponsored by the IEEE Industry Engagement Committee. Based on the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (SDG) 11, the event will stimulate action to "Make cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable". The workshop will provide a platform for stimulating communication, collaborations, and partnerships. The focus is the interaction between industry, public institutions, academia in Israel with counterparts around the world and the IEEE Smart Cities community. Expert keynotes, speakers and panellists will be invited to showcase and discuss technologies that can drive sustainability and shape the future of our cities. The emphasis will be on opportunities for start-ups and early-stage companies, in three key topical areas: I. Agriculture, and feeding cities II. Climate change mitigation and adaptation III. Urban living and economies
