On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to welcome you to the 16th ROOMVENT Conference (ROOMVENT 2022) September 16-19, 2022, in Xi’an, China. Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology and Umeå University are proud to host the conference.
ROOMVENT is a well-established conference series within the discipline of ventilation research in both industrial and non-industrial premises, first held in 1987 in Stockholm. It is the leading international event in the area of ventilation and air distribution in rooms.
We hope this conference will provide an exclusive opportunity, and an excellent forum for policy-makers, designers, researchers, engineers, and other professionals to share their experience, disseminate technical information, new ideas, and discuss the latest developments and future direction in the fields of HVAC and built environment.

All submissions to ROOMVENT 2022 need to use the submission system. Authors need to register an account for submission by using your e-mail address in the Submission System. All the abstracts and papers will be peer reviewed by 2-3 experts with rich experience in the related field on the basis of technical quality, relevance to conference topics of interest, originality, significance, and clarity. It will take 2-4 weeks for the result coming out. The abstract should not exceed 500 words and the full paper should be no more than 4 pages, including figures, tables and references. Extra pages (exceed 4 pages) will incur additional charges.

Statement of ROOMVENT 2022
1. Please prepare your paper in PDF format.
2. The official language of the papers will be English. Other languages are not acceptable, also for Figures or Tables. Please check your papers' grammar. Refer to ROOMVENT 2022- Extended Abstract Template to prepare your abstracts.
3. Abstracts and papers should exhibit novelty and quality. They should not have been published elsewhere. No form of plagiarism is allowed.
4. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least 2 reviewers.
5. The abstract should not exceed 500 words. The full paper should be no more than 4 pages, including figures, tables, and references. Extra pages (exceeding 4 pages) will incur additional charges.
