Introduction
Computational and Applied Statistics 2022 (CAS) is a workshop organized as part of the International Conference on Computational Science and its Applications - ICCSA 2022.
CAS 2022 will be the 9th event at a series of highly successful International Conferences on Computational Science and Its Applications (ICCSA), previously held in Cagliari, Italy (2021), Online (2020), in Saint Petersburg, Russia (2019), Melbourne, Australia (2018), Trieste, Italy (2017), Beijing. China (2016), Banff, Canada (2015) and Guimarães, Portugal (2014).
Papers will be published as part of the conference proceedings by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) Series.

The paper must deal with original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere. All submissions will be reviewed by at least three experts in the relevant field.
