COST CONSIDERATIONS IN CLOSED FUEL CYCLE VALUE CHAIN WITH EXTERNAL/INTERNAL RELATIVE EMPHASIS
External Cost, Internal Cost, Closed Fuel Cycle, Levelized fuel cycle cost.
Abstract Accepted
Cash flow analytic considerations of material flow are hereby presented for a closed fuel where material flow study requires its corresponding economic implication which until now is gotten from the cost of generating electricity as a function of internal cost of materials utilized, but from the fuel cycle option adopted and reactor type in any state, it implies that the entire fuel cycle cost also has external cost as a determinant. The focus of this work is to determine the external and internal cost of PWR-MOX fuel of closed cycle relative to the once through PWR of the open cycle and identify the difference, if there is, between these costs on both reactor types. Prior to this time, much effort has been on internal costs which are measured in terms of electricity cost or localized cost of electricity from materials used in the process, it is therefore important to consider indirect costs of electricity which can be measured in terms of eventualities called the social costs, for example accident, impact of war or global instability and consequent political tussle, energy supply  security and public acceptance that is examined from the impact of subsidy for having energy source within the environment. Analysis of different studies on fuel cycle economics is then reviewed.
