**Qaisar Nadeem** is a Principal Engineer and Lecturer at the Pakistan Institute of Engineering & Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Islamabad, Pakistan. He holds a master's degree in Nuclear Engineering from PIEAS and a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad. With a strong academic background, he has been involved in teaching and research at PIEAS since 2013, covering subjects like Nuclear Emergency Management, Environmental Engineering, and Atmospheric Dispersion Modeling.
Qaisar has supervised over 30 master's theses and contributed significantly to the field through his expertise in atmospheric dispersion modeling and nuclear emergency preparedness. His technical skills include programming in FORTRAN, C, Python, and MATLAB, as well as proficiency in meteorological and dispersion modeling software such as WRF, CALPUFF, AERMOD, and LAPMOD. He has led several research projects, including atmospheric dispersion field tracer tests and the development of nuclear emergency decision support systems in Pakistan.
His accolades include a fellowship from the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission and the Dr. I. H. Usmani Gold Medal for securing the top position in his MSc. in Nuclear Engineering. Qaisar is a registered engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council and a member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
