We are thrilled to extend a warm invitation to educators, researchers, and industry professionals from around the globe to join us in Wuhan, China, from September 13th to 15th, 2024, for a stimulating and enriching experience at ICET 2024. Hosted by the National Engineering Research Center of Educational Big Data, the National Engineering Research Center for E-Learning, and the Wuhan Intelligent Education Industry Technology Research Institute, and sponsored by Central China Normal University and the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education, and technical supported by Journal of Distance Education,  this conference promises to be a pivotal moment in the discourse on educational technology.

In the ever-evolving landscape of education, the fusion of data intelligence and educational technology has become a driving force for transformative change. ICET 2024 is dedicated to exploring and advancing the use of cutting-edge computer technologies to enhance learning efficiency and educational effectiveness. Our focus spans a wide spectrum, encompassing educational management information systems, online learning, blended learning, mobile technology applications, educational innovation, social media, and social networks.

Since its inception in 2021, ICET has served as a vital platform for the exchange of ideas and collaboration among experts and scholars in the field of educational technology. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, our commitment to fostering knowledge-sharing and collaboration remained unwavering. Now, in 2024, we are excited to transition to an in-person format, offering a rich program that includes keynote speeches, invited talks, peer-reviewed paper presentations, networking activities, and a city tour.
