Mechatronic design can result in products which are much simpler than their intricate and costly predecessors and can make commonplace the miracle of yesterday. Machine vision has emerged from the laboratory among other sophisticated sensors to find real applications in multimedia, and with ease of interfacing it offers a whole new field of low-cost vision-based mechatronic designing. In recent years, with new mechatronic concepts continuously introduced, such as wearable and soft mechatronics devices, there is a great demands of mechatronics education. And being the backstage hero, with the popularization of robotics and 3D printing, mechatronics research will become more and more active.
