The International Conference for Artificial Intelligence: Applications, Innovation and Ethics (AI)2E will be jointly organized by the UNESCO Chair on Artificial Intelligence at the Communication and Information Research Center (CIRC) at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and the Ministry of Transport, Communications & Information Technology (MTCIT). The conference is technically supported by the Ministry of Education and the Telecommunication Regulation Authority (TRA) and the Oman National Commission for Educational, Culture, and Sciences and IEEE Oman. The conference is to be organized on Artificial Intelligence to support the National Initiative on this theme. It will be for three days from 3 to 5 February 2025 and aims to promoting awareness and disseminating the use and development of AI new technologies and applications, Innovation with AI and Ethics of AI. The conference will be of great interest to professionals, academic staff, governmental sector, industrial partners, researchers, students, and the community in Oman. The event will also provide the opportunity to network different international groups of AI users, benefit from insightful lectures delivered at the conference. The UNESCO Chair for Seismic and Tsunamis Studies at the Earthquake Monitoring Center at SQU will hold a special session on: AI for Earthquake and Tsunami Monitoring and Prediction. IEEE Oman section will hold a special session on AI for Sustainable Energy Transition.
Main Topics
The range of targeted topics is very broad, but priority is given to subjects on real world applications of AI, Innovation and Ethics of AI. Based on this, the technical committee is inviting submission on topics related to:
