Three-dimensional (3D) genomics is a cutting-edge discipline in genomics and modern genetics, focusing on uncovering the spatial genome folding architecture and fundamental principles of chromatin organization within the nucleus, and elucidating how 3D genome structures influence and regulate essential genomic functions such as gene transcription and DNA replication. Over the past decade, 3D genomics has broadly incorporated into diverse fields of biology, serving as a powerful tool for investigating gene transcriptional regulation, cell fate determination, disease mechanisms, and functional genomics in medical, animal and plant sciences.
To further promote international academic exchanges and interdisciplinary collaborations, we are thrilled to announce “The 12th International Symposium on 3D Genomics” scheduled to be held in Xi’an city, Shaanxi Province, China, from April 16–19, 2026. Centering around the theme “3D Genomics and the Future of Life Science”, this symposium will bring together leading experts and scholars from around the world to share the latest technology advances, emerging research directions, and future prospects in 3D genomics. Through plenary lectures and in-depth academic discussions, this event aims to foster scholarly consensus, stimulate innovation, and cultivate collaboration.
We warmly invite you to participate in this exciting gathering, present your new findings, engage with peers, and contribute to shaping the future of 3D genomics. Further information and updates on the symposium will be provided soon. We encourage you to stay engaged and join us in this important scientific endeavor.
