Introduction

The 7th International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies for Rail Transit (EITRT 2025) will be held in Lanzhou from October 17–19, 2025. The conference is sponsored by the China Electrotechnical Society and the National Key Laboratory of Autonomous Operation of Advanced Rail Transit, Beijing Jiaotong University. It is co-organized by Lanzhou Jiaotong University; the Railway Industry Key Laboratory of Intelligent Management and Control for Plateau Railway Transportation (Lanzhou Jiaotong University); the Technical Committee on Rail Transit Electrical Equipment of the China Electrotechnical Society; the Railway Industry Key Laboratory of Proactive Safety Assurance and Risk Prevention & Control; and Electrical Technology Magazine Co., Ltd., among others. EITRT 2025 aims to provide a high-level international exchange platform for scholars and technical professionals in the fields of energy-electric systems and intelligent operation/information technologies for rail transit, facilitating the sharing of recent research achievements. The previous six editions were held in Changchun, Zhuzhou, Changsha, Qingdao, and Beijing, and have repeatedly been recognized as ‘Exemplary Academic Conferences’ by the China Academic Conference Online platform (Ministry of Education).
