第八届中国模式识别与计算机视觉大会（PRCV 2025）

The preparatory meeting for the 8th Chinese Conference on Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision (PRCV 2025) was successfully held on October 19, 2024, at the Urumqi International Convention and Exhibition Center in Xinjiang. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Weiyao Lin (Shanghai Jiao Tong University), Chair of the Program Committee. Prof. Hongkai Xiong, General Chair of PRCV 2025, reported on the preparatory work on behalf of the organizing institution. Over 20 representatives from the Organizing Committee attended. It was preliminarily decided that PRCV 2025 will be held from October 16–19, 2025, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Attendees discussed in detail logistical arrangements, financial budgeting, and other matters, and formulated preliminary plans. This conference aims to unite researchers and practitioners in pattern recognition and computer vision, promote open collaboration, attract talents from both academia and industry, enhance internationalization, and build a high-quality academic exchange platform. As a C-class conference of the China Computer Federation (CCF), PRCV is an authoritative academic conference in the field of pattern recognition and computer vision in China. PRCV 2025 will bring together global researchers and industry experts to showcase cutting-edge research findings and technological innovations. The conference will foster more industry–academia–research collaboration opportunities and drive synergistic innovation and sustainable development in this field.
