Abstract
 Abstract: In the current new energy electric vehicle market, the latest development for battery capacity from automakers and battery manufacturers is DC 1500V and 1000A, officially ushering in the megawatt fast-charging era: 5 minutes of charging = 600 kilometers of driving range.
Our newly developed CTF smart fuse, with a rated DC1500V and 1260A, features five modules: Contact switching module; Active protection Pyro module; Temperature monitoring module; Current fuse module; And signal module. The CTF smart fuse replaces the traditional series of contactor + low-voltage fuse + pyro fuse, providing active and passive integrated safety protection for megawatt fast-charging of new energy electric vehicles.

Working Principle for CTF smart fuse: When the signal module receives the battery charging signal, the contact switch module closes, thus forming a conductive loop. When the charging current is abnormal, the temperature monitoring module detects the temperature anomaly and actively cuts off the signal to disconnect the charging loop. If external abnormal factors (such as impacts) occur during the charging process, the active protection Pyro module can cut off the charging loop within 2 milliseconds to ensure the safety of the vehicle. The current fuse module serves as the final safety protection, cutting off the current loop when the current loop is abnormal.
