Since ISOPE-92 San Francisco, the annual ISOPE Conferences have been held with the world's largest technical program of its kind with refereed papers (average 320-510 papers). ISOPE-2002 Kyushu broke the attendance record of the previous ISOPE conference: Technical program of 92 opening and technical sessions and 3 plenary presentations with papers from 45 countries.
