第九届建筑结构基础理论与创新实践论坛

To promote disciplinary development, lead technological advancement in the industry, and strengthen domestic and international academic exchanges, the Journal of Building Structures editorial office initiated the "Symposium on Fundamental Theory and Innovative Practice of Building Structures". The symposium began in 2010 and has successfully held seven editions over fifteen years, jointly organized with Tongji University (2010), South China University of Technology Architectural Design & Research Institute (2011), Hunan University (2014), Dalian University of Technology (2016), Chongqing University (2018), Tsinghua University (2021), and Guangzhou University (2023). After years of development, the symposium has become a high-level academic conference for exchanging cutting-edge research findings, discussing frontier technological innovations, and envisioning future development trends. In 2025, Tianjin University will celebrate its 130th anniversary and the 130th anniversary of its Civil Engineering program. To solemnly commemorate this milestone, the "8th Symposium on Fundamental Theory and Innovative Practice of Building Structures" will be held in Tianjin from September 19–21, 2025.
