Introduction
To strengthen academic exchange and talent cultivation in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in China, and to promote CFD research, development, and application, the 21st National Conference on Computational Fluid Dynamics will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, from August 15–18, 2025 (venue to be announced). The conference is sponsored by the Chinese Society of Aerodynamics, Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Chinese Society of Astronautics; organized by the School of Architecture and Environment, Sichuan University, and the Professional Committee of Computational Aerodynamics, Chinese Society of Aerodynamics; and supported by the Sichuan Tianfu Fluid Big Data Research Center.

Important date
Papers are invited nationwide. Experts, scholars, engineers, technicians, and graduate students working in the field of CFD in China are warmly welcome to submit papers and participate in the conference.
Submission Topics
1. Numerical schemes for CFD;
2. Grid generation and post-processing;
3. Numerical simulation of complex flows;
4. Multiphase and multi-medium flow simulation;
5. Aerodynamic configuration and optimization design;
6. Verification and validation of CFD applications;
7. Interdisciplinary topics related to CFD;
8. AI-enabled CFD technologies;
9. Turbulence transition mechanisms and modeling.
The scope is not limited to the above topics; submissions on other CFD-related subjects are also welcome.
Guidlines
1. Detailed abstract format is provided in Attachment 1; each abstract (including figures and tables) must not exceed two pages and 1500–3000 words. Full paper formatting requirements are given in Attachment 2; no page limit applies.
2. This is an unclassified public conference. Authors must submit a confidentiality review certificate issued by their affiliated institution when submitting both detailed abstracts and full papers; otherwise, submissions will not be accepted.
3. Proceedings will be published. Authors must prepare manuscripts using Microsoft Word according to the above requirements. Email subject line should read “21th-CFD Conference Submission”. Electronic files should be named as “Author Name + Phone Number – Paper Title – Topic”
4. The Young Excellent Paper Award program continues this year. To be eligible, authors must submit full papers and explicitly indicate participation in the award selection.
5. Outstanding papers will be recommended to journals including Acta Aeronautica et Astronautica Sinica, Acta Aerodynamica Sinica, and Experimental Fluid Mechanics.
