Introduction
The Symposium that will be held in Venice on April 10-12, 2013, dedicated to "Sharing Experience for Safe and Sustainable Water Storage", will be the 9th International Symposium organized in the context of the activities of the ICOLD European Club.
The aim of the Club is the exchange of information and experiences on matters of common interest, and is pursued by encouraging regular European Symposia and Working Groups about subjects related to the dam design, construction, operation, maintenance and social, environmental and economic aspects of dams and reservoirs.
