17th International Symposium on Zirconium in the Nuclear Industry

The 17th International Symposium on Zirconium in the Nuclear Industry will be held February 3-7, 2013. Sponsored by ASTM Committee B10 on Reactive and Refractory Metals and Alloys, the symposium will be held at the Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces in Hyderabad, India. Objective The purpose of the symposium is to provide a forum for exchanging new information on the fabrication, testing, development, and characterization of both traditional and new zirconium-based materials in the nuclear industry, including materials performance during normal, transient, and accident conditions as well as materials behavior during intermediate and long-term storage conditions. Of particular interest are studies that focus on identifying and understanding the mechanism of zirconium- based materials behavior. The language of the symposium will be English.
