Symposium on Next-Generation Thermal Insulation Challenges and Opportunities

Papers are invited for a Symposium on Next-Generation Thermal Insulation Challenges and opportunities to be held Wednesday and Thursday October 23-24, 2013. Sponsored by ASTM Committee C16 on Thermal Insulation, the symposium will be held at the Hyatt Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida, in conjunction with the October standards development meetings of Committee. Objective This symposium will provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of current research in the field of insulation materials and systems. This includes innovations in material performance and installation, as well as advances that specifically address the challenges of achieving optimal long-term performance. The target audience includes members of C16, insulation manufacturers, insulation installers, national laboratories, academic institutions, and testing laboratories.
