The International Association for Carbon Capture (IACC) series of conferences has broad influence in the international academic community, significantly promoting international exchange and cooperation in carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS). After continuous development, three editions of the IACC conference have been successfully held, greatly advancing international collaboration and academic progress in this field. The International Association for Carbon Capture 2026 Conference (IACC 2026) will be held from August 26 to 29, 2026, in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, China. It is organized by Xi’an Jiaotong University, with co-organization by Queen’s University Belfast, University of Aberdeen, and University of Surrey. This event will provide new impetus to the Paris Agreement and global carbon neutrality, fostering academic advancement and international cooperation. IACC 2026 aims to offer a high-level platform for academia and industry worldwide to discuss frontier breakthroughs and industrial applications in carbon capture and utilization. The conference will focus on the latest technological developments and future directions in core carbon reduction areas, covering topics such as carbon capture and utilization, carbon capture and storage, low-carbon working fluids and systems, among others.
