3rd International Symposium on Enhanced Electrochemical Capacitors (ISEECap2013)

The Institute of Advanced Energy Technologies “Nicola Giordano” of the National Research Council (CNR-ITAE) and COST Action MP1004 invite you to the next 3rd International Symposium on Enhanced Electrochemical Capacitors (ISEECap2013) that will be held in Taormina, on 3-7 June 2013. The symposium offers the opportunity for researchers who work in the field of supercapacitors to access and overview the most recent results, to present the actual state-of-the-art and to exchange perspectives. The main objective of this conference is to gather, at a truly international level, the most renowned experts together with non-specialist engineers and researchers who share interest in electrochemical capacitors, including: New insights for Electrochemical Capacitor charging (mechanism, solvation/desolvation phenomena, intercalation) New synthesis routes for materials preparation Characterization techniques and in-situ study of interfaces Study on symmetric, asymmetric and hybrid configuration of ECs Present and potential new applications of electrochemical capacitors Thermal management and integration systems New approaches of ECs in hybrid systems ISEECap2013 is open for contributions and participations from all over the world and invites all expert and interested people to submit their work and to join the symposium.
