With the rapid development of today's world economy, said the benefits of serious environmental problems, a direct threat to human survival. Although China has made some achievements in environmental management, but environmental situation is still grim. Aggravating trend of ecological deterioration, energy structural pollution prominent, high-emissions industrial pollution, urban pollution, rural environmental problems have become more prominent. Environmental Simulation and Pollution Control State Key Joint Laboratory and sponsored by Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences Environmental Simulation and Pollution Control Symposium since 1999, held every two years since 2009 upgraded to international seminars. Important seminar aims to sum up experience, look to the future, promote international pollution prevention and control of new technologies of communication, exploring and developing ecological civilization construction, to respond to new opportunities and challenges at home and abroad has become the field of environmental science and engineering academic exchanges platform. Environmental Simulation and Pollution Control International Symposium (Eighth Environmental Simulation and Pollution Control Symposium) will be held 7-8 November 2013 in Beijing said. The seminar will invite domestic and foreign scientific and environmental technology projects for leading scientists and academicians prospective academic reports, and held seminars to promote domestic and foreign counterparts on environmental pollution control hot issues of academic exchanges and jointly explore the environmental field forefront of academic issues.
