Advances in Molecular Plant-Microbe Interactions

The Institute of Plant and Microbial Biology (IPMB), Academia Sinica,is happy to announce the upcoming symposium: Advances in Molecular Plant-Microbe Interaction (MPMI). You are cordially invited to participate this symposium at Academia Sinica, Taipei,Taiwan, on October 3-4, 2013. In view of the institute’s importance in the research fields of both microbiology and plant biology, IPMB will hold the second MPMI meeting that follows the successful meeting in 2008. The study of molecular plant–microbe interactions spans a widerange of disciplines,including molecular biology, cell biology, physiology and biochemistry, and molecular genetics of pathological, symbiotic and associated interactions of microbes with plants. This symposium will cover four major research areas: Plant immunity Protein secretion and effector delivery Plant and virus interactio Genomics and evolution
