2013 IEEE Underwater Acoustic Signal Processing Workshop (UASP) (UASP)

The focus of this special session is on signal processing and modeling associated with continuous active sonar (CAS) systems. CAS systems offer interesting opportunities for improving detection, classification, localization and tracking (DCLT) performance over pulsed systems through adaptable coherent processing intervals and update rates. Topics of interest include experimental or model-based analysis of acoustics and sonar performance in CAS systems, CAS waveform design, and DCLT algorithms exploiting the unique benefits of CAS sensing or dealing with its inherent issues.
