Introduction
This is a conference on applied mathematics organised in cooperation with the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematcs (SIAM) and hosted by the Department of Mathematics & Natural Sciences at the Gulf University for Science & Technology. The objective is to bring together applied mathematicians and other researchers using mathematics as a problem solving tool. Some of the major areas of interest are Mathematical Biology, Fluid Mechanics, mathematics of finance and economics and Computational mathematics.
